Prince George, B.C. -  The City of Prince George has launched a new page on their website titled Sport 411.

 

The purpose of the new page is to provide residents or non-profit organizations with information they may need regarding bidding, hosting, grant opportunities, facilities, field bookings and sport group contacts.

 

Brad Beckett, Community Services with the City of Prince George says the page was developed to be a one stop shop for sports information, “There were a number of different resources out there to find information, this page is an effort to combine those resources

and make it easier for people.”

 

The City of Prince George has been working with Events Prince George, The Sport Council and Pacific Sport North to help provide resources and links for the website. The web page will also be advertised in the new leisure guide that will be delivered to residents next Wednesday and Thursday.
