Actually the letters BCBC used to be the BC Building Corporation. The NDP formed this provincial corporation for their union buddies to look after any building the government owned or was responsible for. BCBC was unions only, and to heck with the cost as long as the unions were happy.
It was BCBC that turned the jail from a $20 million dollar Hilton on the Hill into a $58 million dollar embarrasment. Is BCBC still around?
