Gomery..Points fingers At Some, Clears Others

The long awaited Gomery report has been released, and the 15 hundred page document blames ( at least partially) former Prime Minister Jean Chretien and his senior staff for the mismanagment which lead to the sponsorship scandal.

The report also says the Liberal party also carries some the weight of blame.

Prime Minister Paul Martin has been exhonerated. During his testimony, Martin said he wasn't in the "sponsorship loop". Justice Gomery accepts that testimony.

What now?

NDP Leader Jack Layton says he is waiting before making a decision on whether the NDP will continue to prop up the Martin government. Tory leader Stephen Harper is waiting to see what layton will do.

Former Prime Minister Jean Chretien will hold a news conference before the hour is through and is expcted to launch a stinging attack.

Prime Minister Paul Martin is also scheduled to hold a news conference later this morning.

The report has been handed over to the RCMP for examination for any possible criminal investigations.

Jean the Cretin makes me want to puke. The arrogance of the guy is absolutely mindblowing.

I recently was at a conference with Chretien as a guest speaker. He oozed arrogance, Just like today at his news conference. Someone should tell him to shut his yap on the cheesy golf ball jokes. By the way, he received a standing ovation. Only in Canada.
