PG Cops Look For Ford 350

Police continue to look for a White Ford 350 flat deck pulling a flat deck trailer carrying two quads. Police were trying to conduct a traffic stop at 1.00am. this morning when the vehicle failed to stop and took off with police in pursuit.

The chase was called off near the intersection of Highway 16^th and Westgate Avenue.

Police continued to search the area, but failed to turn up the vehicle. Police are asking your help in finding that vehicle

According to the radio news, the police stopped the pursuit after the truck started to swerve eradically and sometimes into traffic. Better to let a lowlife go than see some innocent person lose their life.

What happened was that it was decided that it was better to let a couple of quads go rather than see someone get hurt.

Can you imagine the outrage if the F-350 smashed into a mini-van coming the other way? People would be blaming the cops for that... mind you, they're blamed for pretty much everything else so what's one more thing?

Cops want my help? Is there a reward? Maybe a free " no tazer card". Kinda like the get out of jail card they have in the Monopoly game. Incentive makes the world go around. The thieves had an incentive. The cops have the incentive too. It's their job and they get power and big bucks. What do I get? Don't care much fer Mounties anymore. They kill people and are not held accountable. They ain't like us.

Very simple solution to this type of problem.
Build the new police station using Atco trailers up behind UNBC.
Buy a nice helicopter with Night Sun and FLIR and catch the idiots. This isn't rocket science people.

They get away because they drive like total idiots and rather than push the guy harder, the police back off to keep us safe...and the idiots know it...

It sounds like you had a run in with the police there harbinger?

Do as they say and you won't get shot, tazered or maced...but give them a reasond and the outcome could be different

Good work to the mounties for calling it off. I would assume they at least got a licence plate out of all this, just show up at their door steps. If its been stolen than what do you do anyway.

The cops need a gun that can deliver a GPS tracking device. Tag the truck or trailer and then back off and start organizing an intercept.

Probably a device on the internet that the cops can buy with a credit card.
