It sounds good, but in Terrace we're stuck with PNG who in the face of falling natural gas prices continually raise the delivery fees in the name of a "revenue requirement." The spineless BC Utilities commission rubber stamps it, because somewhere along the line the Liberals slapped them so hard their false teeth flew out.

A couple years back Methanex, PNG's biggest customer in Kitimat closed their doors. In a true supply and demand economy, it should have resulted in lower gas rates, because the supply increased. Not so! They raised rates based on a "Revenue requirement."

PNG can suck a big fat one. I have a "Revenue requirement," too, like many other people do. Perhaps this is why every winter you see more and more homes in the northwest burning wood to keep warm. It's pretty hard to gouge, or charge a carbon tax on wood any fool with a pickup truck can buck up and burn.
Nejeb. You can also use electric heaters a far a possible in the fall and spring to keep the chill out of the house. As long as it doenst cost you more for Hydro you may as well use it, at least Teresan doesnt get the money until it gets really cold. Wool socks and hot water bottles also help. If you have windows facing the sun in the morning and afternoon open the curtains and let in the heat from natural sources.

Have a nice day.
Sure hope I see a reduction on my bill.
You will see a reduction on your bill.
However so will the Govt and they will take whatever you are saving on your bill and use it for the olympics or ferries.
