Collins Candidate for Cariboo-Prince George Riding

Prince George, B.C. - They gathered and they voted—Bev Collins has been chosen as the NDP candidate for the Cariboo-Prince George riding at a party meeting in Quesnel on Saturday. It's a seat Conservative incumbent Dick Harris currently holds.
Riding Association President Adam Schaan says it was a majority vote. “It was great success Bev had a great speech arousing applause and we're very excited for the election to challenge Mr. Harris,” says Schaan.
He says this isn't the first time Collins has taken a stab at federal politics. “She had run previously in federal elections for the Nationalists Party and then the Canadian Action Party—this may be her fifth federal election.”
Collins is an employment coach with M. Turner and Associates and is a director with the Prince George Chamber of Commerce—she's up against incumbent Cariboo-Prince George Conservative MP Dick Harris.

I do have to wonder when a candidate bops from party to party, just where they really stand and what platform do they actually adhere to?
