Everyone involved in this event, trying to raise awareness and speaking out against abuse should be proud of their efforts. Special kudos to the "Warriors".
I'm not sure if this is really helping.

Is anyone not aware of family violence these days?

Is raising awareness going to stop some harpy from taking a swing at her husband/boyfriend or her kids?

I categorize this the same as I do runs to cure cancer, aids, etc... It's not a lack of money standing in the way of a cure, and all the walking and running in the world won't cure sh*t, nor will awareness.
Harpy? You sound like you have been victimized by a woman at some point in your life. There is help out there for victims of the male persuation as well.
