Prince George, B.C. - This morning, Opinion 250 officially launches the live streaming audio of the “Meisner” program on 93.1 CFIS FM.

Meisner will welcome Premier Gordon Campbell as his first guest on the program.

“Meisner” had been the most popular radio talk show in Canada, commanding a 76% share of the available market when it came off the air in the fall of 2004.

In the past four years, Ben Meisner has been working on the successful news and views website, Opinion250.   The natural progression for the website was to add live streaming audio.  Click on the  image of the microphone in the Opinion250 mast head.  You may be asked to install active x,   or to update your java  edition  allowing both to take place will then start the  process for the program to be heard on your computer.

This wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of Reg Feyer Operations Manager of 93.1 CFIS-FM and the Board of Directors of the Prince George Community Radio Society. They worked with Opinion 250 to bring Ben Meisner to the airwaves and make the live streaming audio available.

Opinion 250 and Meisner, thank them for their efforts. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors of the program without whose support this program would not be possible.

A suggestion I have is if there could be a late night playback of the days earlier show for the people that miss it during the day....
Good luck with the first show. Unfortunatley I'll be missig it, no where near a radio today. Eagle has a good point.
I agree with Eagleone - especially today with our "Carbon tax" man.
Good luck, Ben.
Best of luck Ben!
Very much needed and long overdue.
And Campbell has some tough questions to answer as well!
I'll be right here waiting for his usual rhetoric!
Great job Ben and Gary :)
"The most popular radio talk show in canada? Commanding 76% of the available market?"

Don't know about that unless you consider that once you get to hixon the previous station was naught to be heard...

Must be interpreted as the available PG market.
"Must be interpreted as the available PG market. "

That's how I interpret it since Ben doesn't do a national broadcast.
Good show today by the way, good to hear Ben on the air again.
lmorg:
76% of the "AVAILABLE" market...... MrPG is obviously correct
Better yet, Way to go Reg.

Kudos to you, Finally a radio station that wants to do something other than a bottom line.
