Prince George, B.C.-  After four  years of silence, Ben Meisner returned to the airwaves this morning  on CFIS FM 93.1. and on  live streaming audio on Opinion 250.com.

"It's a pleasure to be back" says Meisner after wrapping up his first hour of interviews and callers. "We know there will be some technical bugs to iron out,  but I really  hope we can make this program  the most listened to talk show in B.C. , just as it was when  I left  CKPG."

CFIS operations manager Reg Feyer   welcomed Meisner back to the air, and reminded  listeners this is "Meisner's" show.  "If  people have  an issue, or want to  suggest a topic, they can call the folks at Opinion250, this is totally Meisner's program." Those calls  for program ideas will be answered at 250-962-6397  ( 962-news)

While Feyer  sat opposite Ben for the opening comments, the first interview was with Premier Gordon Campbell, who welcomed Meisner back to the airwaves.

You can not get Ben out here by Chief Lake rd....Not a great show if the people on the Hart cannot hear him.
Don,
You are right, CFIS has a limited broadcast footprint. That is why we have made it possible for people all over the world to click on the microphone icon for live streaming audio of the show.
If you have a computer, (and you posted a note on this site , so we know you have one) or if you have radio service on SHAW cable, you can hear this show!
We have done everything we can to make sure everyone has access to this program. We know the live streaming audio works because we have already had some feedback from Nova Scotia!
Hope you listen in tomorrow!

Great show today, thanks to te people of CFIS and Reg Feyer for putting Meisner back on the air.
Happy to have you back on the air Mr. Meisner! Good to hear your common sense
and straight forward comments again.
Looking forward to them every day.
Haha...I love the part where Ben claims he had The "Most listened to talk-show in BC".

Ben can't really think that he had more listeners at CKPG than Rafe Mair, or Dan Russell did at CNKW?!?! And that's just for starters. There's a hand-full of other talk-shows in Vancouver at CKNW, CFUN and even Team 1040 for that would easily pull in more listeners than anyone in a city the size of PG. Heck, I'd wager that even
Dr. Laura's syndicated show had higher rating numbers in Vancouver than Ben's in PG.

Unless Ben meant to say "Most Listened to Show per-capita" - he's out to lunch.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but to claim that you had the most listened to talk-show in BC Ben, you know that's 100% not true.

Good luck with making the new show #1 in BC on a station that doesn't even reach the Hart too. If you can do it (and I'm rooting for you, really I am), you deserve all the praise in the world.

"Unless Ben meant to say "Most Listened to Show per-capita" - he's out to lunch."

That's exactly how I took it to mean. Nobody is saying we have a bigger population than Vancouver and somehow have more listeners.
