Prince George, B.C.- RCMP have yet to release the name of the 38 year old man who was found dead in a burned semi east of Prince George late last night.

McBride RCMP were called to a transport truck fire just after 11 last night.

The truck was on Highway 16 east, near the Penny Road access on a pullout. The cab was badly burned.   The body of a male was found in the cab.   A female was also found at the scene, she suffered serious burns and was taken to PGRH.

Because the fire was not the result of a crash, the McBride RCMP requested the assistance of the Prince George Serious Crimes Unit.
