Police Seek Female In Terrace Stabbing Death

Terrace- Police in Terrace are looking for a first nations female in her twenties that police say was at the home were a stabbing took

place in that community on September 27th.

Police say the woman is not a suspect,  but was at the scene prior to the arrival of police to investigate the stabbing.

Police say the woman may be able to help police leading up to the stabbing of a 46 year old Terrace resident.

 The name of the dead woman or the person they are seeking will not be released.

The woman died in hospital after being stabbed multiple times at a home on Hougland St. in Terrace.

The accused , a youth who’s  name cannot be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act is scheduled to appear in

Terrace court tomorrow to face charges.

"This female is not a suspect, but may help investigators ascertain the events leading up to the death of the 46 year old Terrace resident," police said in a statement today.
