Prince George, B.C.- The City of Prince George is going to work with the Provincial Ministry of Children and families to start a “Strategic Integrated Community Crime Prevention Planning Process.”
The Ministry is willing to provide $90 thousand a year for a program that will identify individuals who are at higher risk of being involved in crime and building protective factors to reduce the risk.
The program that is being examined as a possible model is “Communities that Care”. This program takes an approach to community building, focuses on promoting positive youth development and preventing problem behaviours.
Councillor Murry Krause supported this move and hope it will focus on youth, in particular , efforts to keep youth from getting involoved in gang activity.
Councillor Sherry Sethen says there also needs to be a concentration on the justice system and the reform to that, "It goes hand in hand and we cannot combat crime without all of our partners in place along with us."

That mouthful sounds like it could have been invented by a bunch of well fed upper middle class civil servants, or u.s. military types.

That mouthful sounds like male bovine waste
Here is my translation; they are not going to do anything effective about the drug problems our society is suffering from.
They are going to make themselves and a few sheep think that something is being done, while the criminals continue to laugh at us boring straights who pay taxes.
