Prince George, B.C.- The City of Prince George has received a provincial $10,000 Infrastructure Planning Grant.

The money will be used  to  develop a Climate Change Adaptation  plan.  That means there will have to be research to document hydroclimatology trends and conducting future climate impact projections for Prince George and the
surrounding area.

The project will result in a report,  and communication tools for the City departments to use  in the development of a cstrategy to deal with climate change, for example,  flood protection infrastructure or changes to  some operations like snow removal.
