Yellow tape  cordons off the crime scene at a home on Webber Crescent.

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP say the Webber Crescent home that was the scene of a double murder last night, had been searched September 12th. “At that time” says Constable Gary Godwin “officers seized 3 unregistered handguns, one of which was a semi automatic.”

RCMP investigators remain on the scene at Webber Crescent, but the identities of the two victims have not been released.

Neighbours tell Opinion 250  they are in complete shock “I’ve lived here for 10 years and the worst thing that has happened is one of my extension cords was stolen. This is such a great neighbourhood, a family neighbourhood, with kids playing in the street. It is not what I expected.”

Neighbours say they suspect the victims (who were renting the home) were involved in shady activity. One neighbour who contacted the Meisner program on CFIS this morning, said the house was a problem house for the past two months after the owner moved out and started renting out the home. “This is a good neighbourhood, we moved specifically to this neighbourhood because it is such a good neighbourhood.”

Prince George  RCMP Plain Clothes officers had received a tip about the murders last night, and  attended the home where they discovered the bodies of the two victims.

I will say what most people are probably thinking... Good riddens!! Play with fire .. you will get burned.
Unfortunately I agree...

They chose that lifestyle, they lived it, and like many before them... they died from it.

Isn't it amazing how your the quality of your life is determined by the choices you make?

Very very sad.
Just goes to show that crime knows no boundaries..it is all around us..downtown, college heights, the hart...anywhere..please dont be complacent people - be aware of your surroundings and act accordingly....
Seems some druggies have more control over their compatriots than the cops do. Attrition! That's the word.
I agree with you Petty fan
everone must be aware of their surroundings and act accordingly by being involved in your community
Gotta do what you gotta do to get rid of the neighbors that are involved with crime. Now the neighborhood is good again. Place for rent: to someone not involved in the crime scene…
the VLA look like a better place to live these days. No murders there for a long time.
These two were not killed at that house. That is just the police story for now. Stay tuned for more news to follow. And they were killed on the weekend. This story is missing a lot of details.
The word on the street was out last weekend that two thugs were wacked, only problem is, one was killed downtown and the other no one knows. How they end up in this house is the question. And why are the cops not saying when they were actually killed? Makes one wonder?
People please have a little respect for the family involved. Someone lost their little girl a few days ago, their best friend, their sister...

Sometimes people get caught up in the wrong thing at the wrong time or with the wrong person.

How can any of you rightfully pass judgement on a situation or person without knowing who they were or what the situation actually was?

Please just show some respect for the parties involved.
