Yellow tape cordons off the crime scene at a home on Webber Crescent.
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP say the Webber Crescent home that was the scene of a double murder last night, had been searched September 12th. “At that time” says Constable Gary Godwin “officers seized 3 unregistered handguns, one of which was a semi automatic.”
RCMP investigators remain on the scene at Webber Crescent, but the identities of the two victims have not been released.
Neighbours tell Opinion 250 they are in complete shock “I’ve lived here for 10 years and the worst thing that has happened is one of my extension cords was stolen. This is such a great neighbourhood, a family neighbourhood, with kids playing in the street. It is not what I expected.”
Neighbours say they suspect the victims (who were renting the home) were involved in shady activity. One neighbour who contacted the Meisner program on CFIS this morning, said the house was a problem house for the past two months after the owner moved out and started renting out the home. “This is a good neighbourhood, we moved specifically to this neighbourhood because it is such a good neighbourhood.”
Prince George RCMP Plain Clothes officers had received a tip about the murders last night, and attended the home where they discovered the bodies of the two victims.
