Prince George, B.C.- B.C. Hydro crews are still trying to restore power to one of three industrial customers on P.G. Pulpmill Road, after a vehicle  took out a hydro pole this morning.

FMC,  B.C.  Chem and the P.G. Pulpmill were all without power this morning .  Hydro did some switching and restored power to  BC. Chem and P.G. Pulpmill just before the noon hour

“It looks now  as though  FMC will have  power restored by about 5p.m.” says B.C. Hydro spokesperson Bob Gammer. That is  at least two hours faster than initially  expected.

The 32 year old driver of the vehicle  suffered minor injuries.

I have driven down that road. How do you do that? Nice trick.
Oh, maybe a cell phone in one hand and a coffee in the other, going too fast...can think of lots of reasons, none of them an excuse...
thankfully no one hurt too badly
Presuming (not knowing otherwise) that the driver may have had a medical reason to lose control of the vehicle my first concern would be whether or not he was injured.
Infamous Prince George pothole? Could happen.
DMust have been moving, those are heavy poles.
