I am waiting for the gas surcharges on airlines, BC Ferries, etc. to now come down or off completey. All the merchants and companies that so quickly put up their prices due to the cost of shipping etc. should also be expected to lower their prices. Perhaps this will be like that temporary tax that was imposed to pay for the war (income tax) that was never removed. I guess the Governments are going to have new creative ways to get more tax money from us since their take of the gas tax will be down also. Perhaps we could look forward to an increase in the carbon tax grab. In the mean time I will cut my driving and spending back accordingly.
When the price of gas went up in Ottawa, immediately the price in Prince George went up- will the same thing happen now?? I do not think so!!
Oil companies are crooked. We know this. Now we have to figure out how to combat it.
You're right Ruez, but nothing will ever change until our politicans do something about it.
And that's not going to happen anytime soon unfortunately.
The oil companies and government share the same bed.
I'm not surprised, there is an election coming up. They are not worried about us in the west we are just peanuts to them.
