Man Crushed by Pipes

Endako, B.C. - An 'AIR EVAC' team from Prince George is being flown to the Endako Mine at this hour after an industrial incident at the Mine.

The BC Ambulance Service confirms a man is suffereing from serious crush injuries—after being crushed by piping.

No word on how that person is doing, but he'll be flown to Prince George Regional Hospital as soon as they arrive on scene.

No word from Endako mine officials yet on what caused the incident.

RCMP have also been dispatched.

Emergency services received the call at about 9:45 this morning.

Why would the RCMP be dispatched? It can only mean a sudden death on the worksite. Hope I'm mistaken.
