Prince George, B.C.- At about 5:30 this morning, Prince George RCMP received notice about a glass break alarm in a retail store, in the 400 block of Dominion.
When they arrived, they found a suspicious package on the premises. Whether the package was delivered along with the rock that was thrown through the  window is not known.
As a precaution, the area was cordoned off  between   4th and 5th  and the adjoining alleyways
The “E” Division demolition unit has been notified and is expected to arrive on scene shortly.
Prince George, RCMP Constable Gary Godwin says they are acting on the side of caution. “It is the police experience that when a rock is thrown through a window it is either vandalism, or a smash and grab. Because this package was in the proximity of the rock,  we are acting on the side of caution.”
