Regional District Honours Former Administrator

Prince George, B.C. – Dave Wilson was the Administrator for the Regional District of Fraser Fort George from 1987 to 1997. He passed away last week.
Today, the Regional District paid honour to his memory by starting their monthly meeting with a minute of silence.
Wilson’s family was in attendance as they heard how Dave was the driving force behind the development of 9-1-1 throughout the region. “He was a man of vision” said Chair Art Kaehn “He cared about the environment and laid the groundwork for the first waste management plan for the region.”
Chair Art Kaehn requested all in attendance to rise, and offer a minute of silence.
As Directors bowed their heads, more than one dabbed their eyes.
“He will be missed” said Chairman Kaehn “and our thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.”
