Earlier today, Prince George Peace River M.P Jay Hill released a statement on the attacks, “These are despicable actions and I look forward to the capture and prosecution of the individuals responsible.” said Hill.  “There is no excuse for public protest to include acts of violence.  It is simply not tolerated by our society.”

The RCMP , and INSET - the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team and EDU - the Explosive Disposal Unit will remain at the scene today conducting a in depth post blast examination of the most recent explosion site.

RCMP investigators are following up on leads and are taking all tips seriously in an effort to identify the person or persons responsible as soon as possible.

The RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance on this one, saying that in cases such as this - there is typically at least one other person who has information that would help investigators identify the person (s) responsible or the location of the explosives used in these crimes.

“We are asking that person to do the right thing and come forward with the information now to prevent any further harm” reads a release from the RCMP.

Tips can be passed along anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or by calling their local detachment.
