Police Arrest Hostage Taker At Gun Point

Prince George -    A 34 year old Prince George man is being held in custody after it is alleged that he forced his way into a home in the 2300 block of Quince St at 2.30 Sunday morning.

Police say that he is alleged to have forced his way into a main floor suite and assaulted a 44 year old man and a 53 year old woman. He then locked the front door, forced the occupants into the top floor from the basement demanding money.

He was arrested at gun point without incident. The male and female were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Four others in the home were unharmed.
