Health and Safety Summit Gets Underway Today

Prince George, B.C.- The 2008 Health and Safety Summit gets underway today in Prince George. The four  day summit at the Coast Inn of the North has several free sessions including Safety in the Community, looking at how simple safety strategies can improve safety in your community whether you are at work, play or at home.
Also today, Accident Prevention with tips on how to keep you and your family safe.
The luncheon address features experiences of an injured young worker, and that theme carries over to the early afternoon with a session on the dangers facing  B.C. young workers.
The balance of the summit is aimed at specific industries.

Good! I need tips on how to keep myself and my family safe! At work or play or at home. I don't work anymore so that's out. I don't play anymore because I'm too old fer that and I don't stay home too much. Other than that I sure would like to learn how to be safe.
Safe from what? Bad air? Bad politicians? Bad drivers? Bad taxes? Bad roads? Bad food? Bad water? Bad people? Bad rules? Bad bylaws? Bad levies? (as in taxes) Not river levies. Bad housing? Bad international neighbours? Bad weather? Bad loans? Be specific.
