Although Gordo brags about our balanced budget can anyone tell me how we can possibly pay for his massive spending on highway projects,Olympics, obscene pay increases,to name only a few, out of current revenues.

It would be interesting to know how much he has increased our provincial debt during his time as Premier.

Also interesting to hear he is encouraging the federal government to run a deficit when he states that he is against running one in this province.

Something doesn't smell right. We now hear that the security costs for the Olympics may well approach a billion dollars rather than his initial estimate of $1,750,000.

How far out was he on his other estimates and will we ever know how much these games have truly cost?

This guy is a charlatan and proven to be no better than (shudder)the dreaded NDP.

Oh for the old W.A.C. & Bill Bennett days.
I agree netsurfer!
It isn't about what Campbell IS telling us,it is about what he is NOT telling us that bothers me.
I think the actual costs of the Olympics will be the real story.
I fail to see how the initial numbers he gave us will hold up but unforunately,he is not above lying about it.
But then we already knew that.
What is worse than all of that is....They gave themselve a 30% wage increase and then decided they did not have to sit in parliment until the new year!! Aparently there is not any unfinished business from the spring to look after. It says on the website that they should be sitting but they have not for months. When I contacted Mr Rustad he informed me of the unfinished business theory. *rolling eyes
Yet the rest of us have to work 5 days a week to pay for their wages and they cant get there arses into parliment for even one day a week. *Shaking head

I dont care if you have to just sit and look stupidly at one another but GO TO FREAKING WORK!!!
