Another Team for World Baseball Challenge

Prince George, B.C. - Another team has been confirmed for the World Baseball Challenge in Prince George.

The Bahamas Baseball Federation has confirmed it will send a team to the July event.

The confirmation brings to seven the number of teams confirmed for the eight team event. Prince George Axemen, Team Canada, USA National Team, Chinese Taipei, Germany, Reno Astros, Bahamas, Asia, Europe, Caribbean and North America all represented.

The remaining spot has yet to be determined, although organizers are still waiting for a final word from Cuba and Venezuela. If Venezuela confirms, Cuba will not be able to attend.
