Prince George, B.C.- Look for a change in the liquor license for the Waddling Duck. The owners  of the 5th Avenue restaurant applied for City Council support for a change that will allow audience participation. This will allow the Waddling Duck to host weddings.  Council voted in support of the change although the actual approval will have to come from the B.C. Liquor Licensing Board.
In a seperate  hearing, IDL projects has been granted a variance from the development of the Duchess Park Secondary School. The variance means the developers ( School District 57) won’t have to add additional street lighting as there is already lighting along the respective streets.
