We shall see if these charges stick.... I suspect that Jesse Norman Sweder will likely be freed on bail and will never see the dark halls of our federal prison system.....

Probably double time credit for time served and add 30 days....

Synical I know, but the real bad guys seem to just walk on a regular basis
Was this a "gang" related killing? Too many deaths on norwood to keep track.
I knew the victim, and I sure hope the charges stick! We have been waiting for 4 yrs to hear this news. The shooting wasn't gang related, the guy killed Pete to make a name for himself in PG. A total senseless act of violence. I hope he gets what's coming to him.
Sorry I made a mistake, The shooting WAS gang related.

This charge and arrest follows four years of investigation by a combined investigational team from Prince George detachment and North District Major Crime Unit," said RCMP spokesman Const. Gary Godwin.
Letendre was believed to be associated to organized crime in this area and was charged in 2004 with aggravated assault and other related offenses in the severe beating of a drug-addicted female. Letendre and three others walked free when the female did not appear in court just as the trial was to begin.
