Scotia Bank Held Up

Prince George, B.C.-RCMP are looking for a lone caucasian male who held up the Scotiabank on Victoria  just after 4 this afternoon.  The suspect is said to be about 5'5" tall,  130 lbs,  and is approximatly 20 years old.

He was wearing  a beige jacket with a shirt that had some blue markings on it.  He fled on foot, however it is unknown if he later got into a vehicle.

No one hurt,  and no weapon  was produced.  Police say the thief presented a note to the teller.

All available police are now in the area,  tracking their suspect.

The dog unit  is on scene  and is working the area.

Victim Services may be sent to the bank to  debrief the  Scotiabank staff.

You can bet that the counsellors will do more to upset the staff than the deed itself.

I'll bet none of them even knew what was happening except for the teller herself.

This bank was held up years ago and I happened to go in there shortly thereafter. You should have seen the scene, there were counsellors all over the place and the whole staff was in tears.
Looks like a case of reverse banking.

Someone should have offered the thief a bailout. Maybe he wouldn't have robbed the bank. Every one is getting a bailout these days.
