My father owned a shoe store so I find this cartoon offensive. We believed that footwear was the most important article of clothing on could wear. However I will send it to my family and I'm sure they will get a kick out of it (no pun intended.)
Actually we do need new leaders in all the parties, not just the Liberals. Harper has shown he cannot work with other parties and the others need a breathe of fresh air.
I believe one of the best moves for Canada would have been the alliance of Libs, NDP and Bloc. It would have shown Canadians that politicians can work together, that the NDP and Libs can agree on policy and that the Bloc can contribute to Canada's future. This would reduce the possibility of Quebec separating as it is contributing to Canada. This is what scared Harper, he is afraid of what it might do as he would lose his basis of attack politics..
