Giscome, B.C.- Flames ripped through a home in Giscome, Sunday morning.
No one hurt.
The Willow River Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene in time to save the out buildings, but not the home.
The Volunteers wouldn’t have been able to save the outbuildings if they hadn’t received a donation of a fire truck from the Beaverly Volunteer Fire department earlier in the fall. The Willow River fire hall and truck went up in flames earlier this year.
The cause of the fire and the estimate of damage, are not yet known.
