Telus Ballots to Be Returned Today

The ballots for the vote on the "memorandum of settlement" between TELUS and the Telecommunications Workers Union (TWU) are to be returned today.
The ballots will be counted today, and the results of the vote are to be released tomorrow.
The TWU Executive Council and bargaining committee have recommended the agreement be accepted. If ratified, it would take effect on November 17, 2005 and cover through to November 16, 2010.
If ratified, Telus says it will "begin the process of bringing all team members back to work as expeditiously as possible."
