Worker Zapped Between Two Pulp Mills In Prince George

Prince George-    Power has been cut to a large area near the two pulp mills and Husky refinery in the city after a worker was accidentally electrocuted while working between the two pulp mills.  While details are still sketchy, power has been knocked out to the Husky refinery and employees are waiting outside to return to work, they are joined by the workers of the two pulp mills.

The accident occurred as a worker was errecting some scaffolding on the pipe bridge between the two pulp mills and came in contact with a high voltage line.

The worker remains tangled in the wires but was still alive at 11.30am.

BC hydro is bringing in a special piece of equipment which will be used to remove the worker from the high tension line.

How the accident occurred is still not known.
