Council Has Light Agenda

Prince George, B.C.- Initiatives Prince George appears before City Council this evening asking for support for an application to the Northern Development Initiatives Trust.
The application is for $20 thousand dollars to go towards the development of two projects. One is a 4-8 page brochure on the industrial park. The brochure would be distributed during a couple of key international trade events this year. The second part is for research on air policy. The overall cost of the two projects is $85 thousand dollars with the balance of funding coming from IPG , the Airport and property owners.
Also on the agenda this evening:
- the P.G. Council of Seniors will present its annual report.
- there is a request for the establishment of a Spirit of B.C. Task force to co ordinate events for the overnight Olympic torch relay events.
