Prince George, B.C.- Prince George RCMP believe a pair of break and enters in the Connaught Hill area Friday may be connected.

Police were called to two separate incidents in the area between 11 and 1 o'clock.  In the first break-in, police say the suspect kicked in back door of a Pine Street home but was chased off by two Labrador Retrievers before anything was taken.

The second home targeted was on Oak Street.  The intruder kicked in the carport door and rummaged through the residence before fleeing with a Toshiba laptop.  A witness to the break-in described the suspect as a lone male dressed in black.

Because of the time and proximity of the break and enters, police believe they are related.

RCMP have no suspects.  The investigation is ongoing
