Prince George, B.C.- You may be the winner of 1600 square foot home on Valentine's day.  But if you didn't get your ticket for the annual Spruce Kings fundraiser, you're now out of luck.

Spruce Kings Director of mMarketing Jim Young says the show home lottery is a sellout.  All 6999 tickets were sold, with a lineup for the final 11 entries Friday afternoon.

Young admits that he was a bit nervous about ticket sales because of the current economic downturn, but says his concern was unfounded as tickets for the lotto sold in record time.

The home is located at 2696 Links Drive, next to the Aberdeen Glen Golf Course and is valued at 375,000 dollars.

Money raised in the lottery supports the operating expenses of the Spruce Kings hockey club.

The draw date is February 14th.

Way to go Kings. We support you guys.... unlike that other team in town.
Damn! I thought I bought the only ticket. Good luck Spruce Kings!
If anything, the current economic downturn might fuel the sales of these kinds of tickets and lottery tickets in general... it clearly seemed to be the case this year -- although it seems to make little sense to buy a $100 lottery ticket when you're in financial trouble.

I don't think they sold out a couple years ago when times were better.

Anyway, good for the Spruce Kings.
