Fire on Ruggles Street

Prince George, B.C. - One person was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation after a fire in the 200 block of Ruggles Street last night.  Prince George Fire Rescue got the call at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Crews arrived to find the three occupants of the home outside and light smoke throughout the home.  Firefighters discovered flames in the bathroom ceiling and were able to contain the fire to the ceiling and a portion of the attic.

Investigators will return to the scene this morning to try and determine what sparked the flames.

There is no damage estimate available.
