Terrace, B.C. - Terrace Mounties raided two homes in the community this week and discovered a pair of pot growing operations.

The busts took place on Tuesday an Wednesday at a home in the 4700 block of Soucie Avenue in Terrace and a residence on King Avenue in Thornhill.  Police seized over 900 marijuana plants and 26 pounds of pot from both of the operations.

RCMP say they found electrical bypasses in both of the grow-ops.  Officials say the hydro bypasses aren't uncommon in the operations, but they are extremely hazardous.  Mountis say they've resulted in fires and electrocutions.

Two people from outside the Terrace area were arrested at the Soucie Avenue home while the King Avenue residence was not occupied.

There's no word on charges.
