Smoke Butt Behind Riley Drive Fire

Prince George, B.C. - Prince George Fire Rescue says a discarded cigarette is to blame for a house fire on Riley Drive last week.
Deputy Chief John Lane says the butt was thrown into a recycling bin on the back deck of the home which contained paper and other combustibles.
11 firefighters from three halls responded to find smoke coming from the rear of the structure last Tuesday night shortly after 10 p.m.
Three people were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation.
Damage is estimated at $150,000.
