Prince George, B.C. - Prince George RCMP arrested two employees of a nightclub for drug possession over the weekend.

Police say the PG Detachment Crime Reduction Team busted a 31 year old man at the Cadillac Ranch at about midnight Saturday.  Police seized 10 baggies of cocaine weighing about a half of gram each along with some cash.  The suspect was processed and then released on a promise to appear in court.

Shortly after 3 a.m. that morning, RCMP returned to the Ranch and arrested the same 31-year-old man along with another employee of the nightclub.  Police say the second suspect was in possession of eight half-gram baggies of cocaine.

RCMP say they also seized 24 half gram baggies of cocaine from a office area of the club.

Both suspects are facing drug charges.  RCMP say their investigation is ongoing.

When the suspect was released the first time with a gentlemans agreement, did the police drop him back off at the cadillac?
No such thing as a gentlemans agreement when dealing with cops and they are not a taxi service.
one would spend more time in jail for being drunk and disordely than this guy for possesion of drugs....

The drug war will never work as the past 30 years has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Time to try another way.
leap is hilarious.

Analogy:
Police have been unable to elimate drunk driving, therefore we suggest making drunk driving legal, but we are going to tax it.

Oh wait, thats stuipid.

Making it legal is only going to increase the impact on society. Sure we elimnate a revenue stream for drug dealers. But do you think they are going to give up and get real jobs and work hard? No. They are going to find other ways to leach of society. So the problem wouldnt be solved, it would only be modified into another form.

Another major source of revenue for gangsters is human trafficing and slavery! How long before some dolt suggests that we legalize that to eliminate the value to gangsters and so we dont have to spend tax dollars to fight it? Probably not as long as I would hope.
I have posted my solution to reduce drug distrubition and use on another post.

I will not repeat it here for the solution is harsh and seems to greatly offend some

However IMO I do believe if the penalties and in turn the cost of doing business is brought to an extreme you would see a great reduction in the drug trade
As it stands currently our justice system is a joke and is barely factored in as a risk or penalty to either the seller or the buyer.

Welcome to Prince George , we are bringing them here. All the wonderful services we provide and the job creation it makes , one feeds off the other.Take a walk down George St.
probablly never. They are insulated. They did not know what these guys where doing so unless it can be proved different they are scot free. Agree with fenceman but am wondering if the first fellow that was caught was again released.
Any employer would be within their rights to fire those employees. It will be interesting to see if come this weekend if those two same guys are employed at the Cadillac. If they are, that speaks volumes of who controls the Cadillac. People pay attention and even if you are not a druggie, stop supporting businesses that are either ran by the gangs or support their behavior.
These are the times tasers should be used. Not at the airport on foreigners.
Arrested twice? if arrested the third time, does that mean throw the prison key away (or the hang man noose)????
No, DPJ, third time arrest same day means he gets a reward, get out of jail free.
These scumbags laugh at our so called criminal justice system.
metalman.
I sure hope the liquor control people shut the night club down and Revenue Canada conduct forensic audits on all the owners
Okay everyone!!! These pipe dreams make me want to say "SMOKE ANOTHER ONE!!". If Vancouver with two types of police can not get a handle on the gangs, do you really think the rcmp here can? These men and/or women are not the best of the class that are stationed here. They try their hardest and we appreciate them but.....they are only people. The problem is.....THE LAW DOES NOT BACK THEM UP!! Drug money is rampid not only on the streets but in all levels of government and law enforcement as well. Make it LEGAL and TAX the chit out of it! IMO
What a mess. I guess one thing we can control is the way we raise our kids. Hopefully as parents who pay attention to their own kids lives will recognize it when their friends need you to step up and be a good influence when their own parents can't.

I can't believe how messed up that topic is. Pure craziness. It's so hard being a parent but don't have kids if you aren't willing to step up and put in the hard work/tough love.

I truly believe in prevention. What else is there if the point of no return happens?
Shell, the USE of CAPS!!! And MULTIPLE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!! Makes YOU look like a raving LUNATIC!!!

And again, IT'S RAMPANT, not RAMPID!!!!!
MrPG who are you? I do not recall a vote making you the Opinion250 spell checker or abuser? Why cant you just leave people alone on here to speak their minds without insults from you? I think all my exlamation marks makes me pationate!!!!!!
here allow me

pationate = passionate

exlamation = exclamation
Just saying, it's probably not a good idea to use words you don't know how to spell.

Multiple exclamation marks just make you look like you're 11 years old. You're older than that, right?

Have a good day.
Let's see if Mr. PG's tough love works!!!!!

;)
Careful Heidi, you used too many exclamation marks! Many people in Canada have learned English as their second language and I for one am proud of that and will not let some cruel abusive man take that away due to spelling errors. :}
Most of the people on here take the point of the post and not pick it apart because they have nothing good to say.
So how much resources and money are being bled off for campbell's olympic wast of money? Drugs, shootings gang bangers and the authorities say they can protect us from terrorists, yeh right.
You are right on that score, seadog, they are committing hundreds of millions of dollars toward security, I suppose they have to, but our resources will most definitely be limited with many of the rcmp and support staff from around the province going down there to put in their time, hell, it is starting already, they have been rehearsing potential terrorist scenarios so every 'member' who is participating for the sake of Olympic security must have to play along in the training too I assume.
metalman.
Arrest and release? That's the plan, Stan. Get the guy and take "his" dope and "his" dough. Simple. But it isn't his drugs and it's not his money. He is just a salesman for the gang. Take his stuff twice. Now when the biggies of the gang ask him for the dough and the money he isn't gonna have either. So guess what? Either come up with it or you're dead. Simple, plain and effective. The cops don't have to worry about this guy. He will be taken care of in a week or two when he can't get the dough or drugs. Kinda like the cops are outsourcing the governments inability to deal with these losers by letting the gangs take care of them. Just say no to drugs.
Don't worry that the victim does not cooperate with the police. I'm sure the police don't mind.
They arrest and release cause they just steal the money and the drugs then run there own crackshacks in PG. The money gets divided up between the arresting officers and they all go to Tim Hortons slapping asses and high fiving each other.
