Opinion250 Contributing Writer To Receive Award

Prince George, BC.- Dawn Hemingway, Chair, UNBC School of Social Work, co-founder of the Women North Network and contributing writer to Opinion250 has won a major national award.
 
Hemingway is the recipient of the 2009 Canadian Association of Social Workers Distinguished Service Award.  
 
The CASW National Social Work Month Distinguished Service Award is given yearly by the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) on the occasion of the National Social Work Month, to an individual or group of individuals selected from their membership by each CASW member organization.
 
The award will be presented to Dawn by the BC Association of Social Workers Provincial President, Phyllis Nash, at a ceremony taking place on February 19th at the China Sail restaurant in Prince George.
