Spruce Kings Drop Fifth And Deciding Game

The Prince George Spruce Kings took the defending League Champs, the Penticton Vees to five games in their series but dropped the final decision tonight in Penticton.

The Spruce Kings had tied up the series here in Prince George at two each forcing a fifth and final game.

The Kings went into the third period tied, but were unable to keep pace with Penticton who carried the third period.  The final score was the Vees 6 – Spruce Kings 4
