West Jet, good people, amd good company leadership.
was told by a friend was a good company
Never received the $$ like Horizon Air and still able to make a go - good common sense company.
A winner all the way, they put Air Canada to shame, and show the little guys how it should be done. They are my first choice in airlines.
metalman.
WestJet has terrific customer service. It is always a pleasure to fly this airline even when it is a bit late. They need to give their neighbors some lessonson how to treat people.
We use Westjet everytime if it is at all possible!
A damn fine outfit, but some BAD jokes at times!
Congratulations Westjet!
Hard to believe, but you can actually call them and talk to a real person!
Ever try to call Air Canaduh?
Bad jokes?

There was the one about not smoking on the plane. The guy was a riot. This one was one of a dozen in his repetoire.

-----------------------------
This is a non-smoking flight.

If we catch you smoking, we will escort you to the smoking section of the plane, out on the wing, where you will be entertained by the movie "gone with the wind".
-------------------------------

If a passenger would use humour like that going though security or boarding the plane, he/she would be escorted from the airport in handcuffs.
I really did not realize that, as the article above says, WestJet provides service both to and from YXS. I was under the impression that they only provided service from and thus I fly the competition on my returns.
If that was a joke, Gus, I really don't get it. And if it wasn't a joke, you should just say it was...
What a fine example of how to run a company. I am committed to fly Westjet on every occasion to every location they fly.

I am also willing to put my money where my mouth is. I have also owned shares in Westjet. And will continue to do so when appropriate.

I have been disappointed with Horizon, Jazz and Jetsco anytime anyone else made travel arrangements for me. Not any more if I have any say or choice.
Ya think she would have dressed for the occasion?
She is dressed,I don't see any skin...and for this town that is dressed up
I really enjoy flying WestJet. If they'd bring back direct service to Calgary I'd stop by their corporate head office to tell them that in person :)
Ya think she would have dressed for the occasion?

I think that's part of the lure and appeal of Westjet to customers; they never take themselves too serious except when it comes to actually serving the people who use their product. If you want staid, stuffy, traditional, lousy service served to you by someone dressed like a model, try the other guys.
On westjet flights all of the cabin personell are well dressed and well groomed. As are the counter people. Their personalities is what sets west jet apart from the others. If one is accepting an award that is going to be publicized you shouldn't be wearing a denim skirt.
So howard stern: bite me.
It's not an award. It's just an appreciation plaque from the Airport, a fancier version of a thank you card. The fact that it was photographed doesn't make it a big important event. It's Prince George, therefore anything that happens is news, anything that can be photographed is photographed.
