Prince George, B.C. – The CN Centre has launched a new website and wants you to head to the CN Centre this morning to celebrate. At 10 this morning, they will be offering coffee and cake as part of their celebration.

The folks at the CN Centre believe the new website,  www.cncentre.ca  will offer easier and better access to information on upcoming CN Centre events, trade shows, walking information, and Cougars games.
It also offers access to CN Centre information for promoters and event managers looking to bring entertainment to Prince George.

Glen Mikkelsen, Event and Marketing Coordinator, says, there is something new, “People will also be really excited about our website’s new “CN Centre Club”. It is a free virtual club, where you can sign up to receive emails on upcoming shows.” For some shows, presale passwords will be distributed – allowing fans early access to CN Centre shows.

Anyone who signs up CN Centre Club before midnight on March 31st will be entered to win a pair of tickets to all of CN Centre’s May concerts. Those concerts include, Montgomery Gentry, Buckcherry, Celtic Thunder, and Video Games Live.

New website, and then there is coffee and cake, thus one really needs to go to the CN Centre physically, not via website to enjoy anything. HMMMMM, seems like it is undermining the idea of the website.

Just a thought.
It really is typical of the people that set these type of things up.

Why would you set up coffee and cake at 10:00 am on a regular workday when most people are at work?

Theres thinking of other people for ya!
I check often on upcoming shows so that part is good, but "people will be really be "excited" about our new CN Center Website Club".
WELL!...I am just so damn excited I can hardly stand it!
;-)
It's pretty darn ugly and not particularly user friendly.
Lostfaith, its because no one is working right now. Everyone is laid off right. So they are helping those people out. haha
I noticed the same thing bohemina, but was not going to comment. Thought maybe some person was lightyears ahead of everyone and was promoting the new retro style of graphics. Certainly helps those who have difficulty reading. Must be geared to the over 60 crowd.

As to why one would set up coffee and cake then? Simple. Don't have enough in the kitty to set it up at a time when tons more freeloaders will come by.
bohemina??? ... LOL .... got to get my fingers coordinated better bohemian!
BTW. I was suprised to see that CN Centrre is in the moving business.
nice job.
I agree with bohemian and gus. That website needs some work . . .
There was quite a few people at the CN center at 10am.
