Simpson Holds Win in Cariboo North

The Final count of ballots, and recount of the Cariboo North riding, have been completed, and there is no change.  New Democrat Bob Simpson remains the winner. Simpson's final vote tally was 7,353, to Liberal candidate Steve Wallace's 7,084.

In the other  close race in the 250, Skeena, New Democrat Robin Austin remains the winner with  6,166 votes,  followed by Liberal Roger Harris with 5,807.

Cariboo South was decided Tuesday when the recount  showed New Democrat Charlie Wyse was the winner over Liberal Walter Cobb.

Candidates have six days to request a judicial recount if they are not satisfied with the results of the latest count.
