Pimm Wins Peace River North Liberal Nomination

Ft.St.  John-    A Ft. St. John man, Pat Pimm has won the nomination for the BC liberals in the upcoming provincial election. Pimm got the nod on the third ballot beating out four other candidates for the nomination.

An estimated 800 people turned out to hear the former MLA for the riding Richard Neufeld , who recently was appointed to the senate,  tell the gathering to unite and maintain a free enterprise government.

Pimm is a former City councillor of Ft. St. John and served as finance chair for the city for six years.

Pimm said in his acceptance speech said that all issues revolve around the economy, and making sure that North Peace residents benefit from the oil and gas activity in the area.
