Conference on Liveable Communities Starts Monday

Prince George, BC – The Measuring Up The North (MUTN) conference is just a day  away.
 
The project facilitates the development of liveable, disability-friendly, age-friendly, universally designed, inclusive communities for all residents and visitors in Northern B.C.. 
 
The two day conference starts tomorrow at the P.G. Civic Centre and will go through the 8th
 
 Called “Creating Universally Designed Healthy Sustainable Communities”, the conference expects to welcome more than 200 delegates from across B.C. as well as other parts of Canada and the US.

Lofty Goals, please keep it simple and start by clearing your sidewalks of Snow and Ice , would that not be nice ? All we need is more talk.
Talk is cheap.
I doubt that talk is that cheap in such a case.

The costs associated with travel, accommodation, meals and wages to cover the days at the conference are covered by the various levels of government with this type of conference.

Even consultants will be backcharging either directly if they are currently working on a project for a municipality or indirectly as company overhead for future work they will do for municipalities.
