Fire Destroys Home In 2200 Block Of Pine St.

Prince George- Two people escaped injury early this morning in a house fire in the 2200 block of Pine Street.

Fire crews arrived on the scene at 5.38 this morning to find heavy fire coming from the carport area of the home. Both the carport and the interior of the house were burning. Two vehicles in the carport were also on fire. They were completely destroyed.

The two people in the home at the time of the fire escaped without injury. A fire investigating team will be on the scene today to determine the cause of the blaze, and a damage estimate is no yet available.
