Washout on Highway 16 Near Smithers

Smithers, B.C. – Localized flooding continues to impact areas of the province. Highway 16, about 10 km east of Smithers, is down to single lane alternating traffic because of a washout.

Drivers are advised to check with www.drivebc.ca for the latest information on that section of roads, and others which may be impacted by localized flooding.
