Quesnel- City Council has given approval to a number of paving jobs to be completed in 2009. The funding for the projects, $283,000, comes from the Quesnel Works: Capital Reinvestment Program: The paving jobs are:

North Fraser Dr. - Elliott St. to Bartels Trailer Court $25,000

Baker Dr. - Hartley St. to Hill St. $39,400

Gardner Ave. - Johnston Ave. to Moffatt St. $42,200

Brownmiller Rd. - MacLeaod Rd. to Rome Ave. $45,000

Hill St. - Baker Dr. to Harper Ave. $40,200

Council allotted $300,000 in the 2009 budget for road rehabilitation.
