Local Reader Captures Sharp Shinned Hawk on Film

Prince George, B.C.- Sometimes Opinion 250 gets the most wonderful photos from its readers we just have to share. These four shots are among those wonderful photos.

This reader, who lives in College Heights, spotted this Sharp Shinned hawk in the backyard, and was able to get very close with a camera. The reader says the hawk showed no fear.

We thought you would like to see the photos so we offer them here for your enjoyment.

We can only say that this little Sharp-Shin (about 10” long) should have used a napkin after its last meal.

I think that it would be nice to have the option on this site to click on pictures to expand them and get a better look. With the average digital camera these days taking pictures 8MP in size, this should be pretty easy to do, no?
