Attempted Abduction In Southridge Area Of PG

Prince George- Police are looking for an older black mini-van, quite dusty and dirty, with possible damage to the passenger side headlight after an attempted abduction on Southridge of a nine year old girl.

The child was walking in the vicinity of Southridge Elementary School at 8.35am. this morning when she was approached by the vehicle and the attempted abduction took place. The young girl was able to run from the scene and was not injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male; no other description has been obtained pending further investigation. Anyone who may have seen this vehicle in that vicinity today is asked to call police at (250) 561-3300.
